*relationships.
Daniel Greyson. room mate,
Blake has met Daniel once while he was a first year. His brother, Wynn, whom Blake had been close with, was worried after Daniel broke up with his girlfriend (referenced from
far away). So, they came down to see how he was doing. It wasn't particularly memorable to Blake, and he still hasn't even connected the two together.
It's Blake's second year, and after much drama the first, he meets Daniel. Instantly establishing the relationship by threatening to transfer Daniel out to Egypt with the camels. Of course, he wasn't serious, but it seemed to work so to making Daniel his, well, servant. (referenced from
half unread) After getting lunch, and being interrupted with a little drama, Blake gets to see Daniel a little different. The boy who follows him around, but someone might like. Might.
That is when Blake goes to Fabric for a little fun on the weekend. However, he runs into his ex and is ignored. Drunk and frustrated he calls in the middle of the night for Daniel to pick him up. Touched, by Daniel's concern, Blake tells him everything about his ex and their relationship. (referenced from
like dynamite)
In the morning Blake isn't sure what to feel exactly. He knows he is thankful to Daniel for helping him, but he isn't sure why Daniel, of all people, came to mind first. He feels himself getting closer, and needier, to the soft warmth Daniel gives him. To avoid further hurt, down the road, he decides it is better to break things off. Deeply regretting his actions later, as he hurt Daniel. Whom was just going to be his friend? (referenced from
give me a sign).
Wynn Greyson. best friend,
When Blake first transfered to Eddingborough, he was honestly a little frightened (not that he'd ever admit it). It was his first time away from home, and completely independent. Although, quickly, he came to appreciate that freedom. He met Wynn, the charming second year on this first day there. It wasn't long until he decided to make allies, or rather, friends with the boy. Often endearing him with the title Uncle Wynn.
Blake relationship with Wynn was a bit complicated. He depended on the boy, and often asked him to help Blake with things he could of easily done himself. He knew that his dear, Uncle Wynn was a bit naive, but he honestly respected the boy. He was kind, charming, and sort of a role model for Blake. Someone he looked up to, someone who could cheer him up. Blake would go as far to say his best friend.
And then, slowly, the year turned to shit. Blake broke things off with Gabe, and became more a bit depressed. He wasn't as care free as when he first arrived. He had fallen in love and been punched back out. And so, he began to change. He became more distant from his friends, and he became more self conscious of his insecurities... Hiding them behind a bitchy personality. But one night, he and Wynn were drinking together.. And he admitted that he admired Wynn. Things lead to one thing after another, and they ended up sleeping together. Afterwards, Blake distanced himself a bit more from the boy. Of course, that doesn't mean he hates Wynn. He still admires his old Uncle Wynn.
Gabriel Townsend. ex-lover
Gabriel, Gabe, is Blake's first love. His first man. His first everything. The two were room mates, and off the bat friends. They both came from the same background, and they were almost the same. Both asses. It was funny how alike they truly are, and were still so good together. As it would be said, opposites attract, but Gabriel and Bradford matched just right. And their relationship turned into something more one night, when Blake was drunk. They established a new understanding, and slowly that turned into love. (referenced from
we make history)
But Gabriel often said he loved other people be brought back to the door for a fun time. And slowly, but surely, this came to eat at Blake's heart. A heart that only said he loved Gabriel, why the other loved more. So much more. Eventually Blake demanded they break it off, and left Gabe toward the end of their first year. The last few months, he spent, 'mending' his broken heart with his own cynical behavior. Telling himself that he wouldn't get hurt again. Or hurt Gabe again.
But in his return to the school, Gabriel returns as well. He sees the boy with another boy, and is stoned with jealously. Trying to resist his feelings and failing. Then, when Daniel and him fight because of his own insecurities, Blake goes back to Gabe for comfort. Guilty, for doing so, but also needing him. Needing the boy to help heal his wounds. Although he tells himself things are over between the two, they certainly aren't. And Blake isn't exactly sure what to do with his mixed feelings...(referenced from
