[bg=ffffff][atrb=width,330,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,10,true] appearance . ---------------------------------------------------------------------- |
FACE CLAIM: William Beckett.
HEIGHT: 6'3"
WEIGHT: 133lbs.
HAIR: Brunette.
EYES: Brown.
BUILT: Blake is pretty much a lanky twig. He doesn't have a great amount of muscles, since tedious exercise disgusts him, but that doesn't mean he doesn't put the effort into toning himself. Having a good body is everything around Eddingborough, Blake doesn't pride himself on the best, but a pretty fine one.
STANCE: Being in an important family, Blake doesn't slouch as most teenage boys would. It would simply not be tolerated in his household. He stands, and sits, with his spine perfectly in straight and his head raised high. This, of course, adds to his appeal as a bright, and fairly wealthy, student.
SCARS: He has a scar on his left thigh, from when he was in a car crash with his mother. He was not seriously injured, as his parents, but he did have glass in bedded in his leg. It was easily removed, but the scar did not heal.
CLOTHES: Under the influence of his parents, Blake often wears more proper clothes. Tan slacks matched up with a wool sweater, and sometimes even suits. But his true taste lies in skinny jeans, and v-neck tee shirts. Of course, his parents would never approve of this, so he has only one pair of jeans and a blue v-neck. When ever he sneaks out he will style these.
VOICE: Blake is a tenor. When you first meet him in class, you may think he is a soft spoken person. Rather, meet him outside of class, and you will find he has a pretty foul mouth at times, and he very loud.
Blake has a rule about angry. The louder he is, the least angry he is. When his voice reaches a hushed, barely heard, tone he is pissed.

[bg=ffffff][atrb=width,330,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,10,true] personality . ---------------------------------------------------------------------- |
FEARS:
» Commitment.
Blake isn't interested in a long term relationship. He likes to enjoy himself, but he can't see himself settling down with one person, and sharing everything about himself and knowing everything about them.
» Bees.
Blake is allergic to bees. He didn't know this, not until when he was fine and got stung and his leg swelled up like a balloon. Since then, he has always feared coming across them.
» Disappointment.
A son, who is perfect, is what his parents want Blake to be. He is afraid that someday, they might find out who he really is. Someone like him, who isn't perfect at all. He fears what they will do if they do find out. Disown him? Who knows.
POSITIVES:
» Shamless. - Blake is confident. Overly confident, to the point where he will do anything. The only people he is really scared of are his parents, but otherwise Blake just doesn't care. He is self praising, and will occasionally tease people with his "stunning looks". Being confident, Blake isn't all that concerned with how other people view him. He will 'do it' with just about anyone who is willing, and isn't the least shy after-words.
» Attentive - Blake often refers to people as either his "fans" or his "slaves". But, you may find on the rare occasion, he may actually do a small act of kindness toward him. Yet, he will always ruin it with some outlandish comment about some sort of payment. To the few "slaves" Blake my like, he is a great "master" to. He demand things of them, but he always pays them back in one way or another. Normally, just standing up for them when they need him, or helping them study for a test. He will complain all the way, but don't let that fool you - he wants to help. "A good master makes a good slave."
» Fair - Blake is the sort of person who doesn't give someone a pitiful look, and treats them nicely because they've had a "hard life". No matter whether they are dying, are a screw up, or another rich snob he will treat them how he sees fit, depending on their actions toward him. So, when he is nice to you it is normally honest, or a scheme to lure you into a trap - you pick.

NEGATIVES:
» Two-faced - Over the years, Blake has developed two different faces. One, in the face of his parents and teachers, the other is the face in front of other students. Blake is an A-student that excels in school by studying. Not only that, but Blake comes from a powerful, influential family, so what he wants he can get. In front of the students, Blake will become what ever he wants. He can be a bully in search of his "slaves". Or he can just be a tease.
» Blunt - Blake is incredibly sarcastic, and could go back and forth with people for hours. You'd be surprised what can come out of his mouth, but then - maybe you wouldn't be. He just has no shame. But what he hates, most of all, is when someone plays him at his own games. He will do just about anything to get revenge on them, and won't be satisfied until he wins. If Blake doesn't like something, he will tell somebody right away. Whether it a person or a painting, he doesn't care whose feelings are hurt. If something is bad, then it is bad, and it needs to be corrected.
» Stubborn - Nobody ever tells Blake what is better for him. He hates it when people tell him that he should do something, and will purposely go out of his way to disobey them. Even if it leads to some disaster, he absolutely cannot stand when someone tells him to do something - like going to bed early. This has lead to many problems in his childhood, and now he manages to listen to the doctor and his parents, but anyone who acts like an authority, telling him how to live his life, forget it.
Blake also has a tendency to hold grudges. Accidentally bump into in the hall, say the wrong thing, and you can expect a world of hell. Blake does not let things go easily, and it takes a lot of effort to correct one mistake with him.

TALENT(S):
» Studying - Blake, with his parents guidance, has picked up the skills to study things for long periods of time. He never had much interest in television, etc, but would rather have his nose in a book. This wouldn't seem to be a talent, but Blake also has the ability to consume large amounts of information in a short period of time.
» Multi-tasking - It's sort of a thing that many people are able to do today. Blake can have his mind on three different things at a time, and manage them all just fine.
HABIT(S):
» Having periods of a time, before a test or after a stressful event, where he will hibernate in a tomb of sheets, books, and coffee... During these times or 'nightmares' he will not move or eat for several days.
» Over sleeping and being unusually grumpy until he gets a cup of coffee.
LIKES:
» Pure, American coffee.
» Waking up early, and having the day to himself. (No annoying people to bother with).
» Walking. Nothing clears the mind like a good walk around the block.
» Cats. Animals that are most like Blake. Sly, self contained, and never just obedient without a reward.
» Reading. The newspaper, books, magazines... Blake will read anything he can get his hands on. Nothing is more relaxing in the morning.
» Power. Having power to his disposal, well, it is just fun. Blake likes to boss people around, even if it is for something small. Because it just makes him feel respected, and powerful.
» Scary movies. What is more interesting than some good blood and cuts all over the floor? Of course, it isn't that great in real life, but in movies... It's always fun. Blake isn't scared in these movies, but actually finds the amusing. The anxious yelling and paranoia, well, it's almost a self reflection on himself. It's self flattery, and it's funny.
» Being treated. Blake is a spoiled prat. He likes when people treat him to something, even if it is some burgers at a fast food restaurant, he is pleased. Of course, you have to be the one paying and being attentive to his needs.
» The heat. Blake couldn't love the warm air more. In the winter he'd like nothing more than to curl up next to a fire. He loves the warmth, and absolutely craves it.
» Ambition. He admires people who have pride in what ever they do. Someone who does it because they want to. Nobody else had to tell them, and nobody could stop them. Someone with ambition and pride, Blake can tolerate.
» Flings. Blake is the sort of person who doesn't hesitate to have a good time. He'd rather run on the moment than having to stop and think about things... That can wait until later. He's not the romantic type, although likes to be spoiled, when he is in the mood, well, it's time to go.
» Drinking. There is nothing like a good night out, with your fake I.D., going to a bar or club. Getting a nice buzz on, and forgetting all the dumb things that happened earlier...
DISLIKES:
» Planes. He doesn't like the sensation of flying, at all.
» Clingy people. You know, the people who always has to ask you questions. How you are, when you obviously aren't okay. Or those who say 'hello' and tell you their life story when you don't want to hear it. Those people.
» Sports. Blake is not athletic, not in the least bit. He enjoys walking, and dancing, but anything involving a ball or running... Well, forget it.
» "A man's man." Blake dislikes people who feel the need to be liked by everyone. Because, well, he feels quite the opposite. Not giving a shit who likes him or not.. They can deal with it. People who change who they are to be liked, are dangerous in Blake's book, and are most likely to be the backstabbers.
» Feeling weak. Blake is all about power. Having complete control of his life, feelings, and relationships. So, when things spiral out of control, like with his parents, he hates that feeling. Breaking down isn't something anyone likes, and feeling helpless just sucks.
» The cold. It is cold out. How can anyone like the cold? It stings your face and numbs your limbs until you can't feel them.
» Cuddling. He won't deny a good time when he sees one... but staying after to cuddle? That is just another story. It is much to intimate for Blake, and he'd much rather keep things as neat as possible. Drama or attachments isn't needed to have some fun.
» Bradford. A name passed down through the family business. It is a tradition to get the name of your great-grandfather. Of course, Blake got stuck with the best one... Bradford. It's so cheesy he created a nickname for himself after getting teased the first time he went to school. Therefore, everyone, except his parents, refer to him as Blake. Which, in your best interest, you should.. Unless you want your head bit off.
» Lectures. Long rambles that often leads to something entirely off topic. It is very boring, unless Blake is address it himself. But if he had it his way, it'd be much more blunt.
» Dumb questions. There is a time and place for questions.. Good questions. But dumb questions in certain circumstances, are just irritating. It completely kills the mood. Can't people just use their head?

[bg=ffffff][atrb=width,330,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,10,true] history . ---------------------------------------------------------------------- |
Blake's childhood wasn't like normal kid's. Instead of doing stupid little things, like playing in grass or dirt, he was stuck in a library being lectured family history. He had to learn ever cousin, uncle, great uncle's name by memory and photograph. It wasn't fun. There was little time for fun in his house, actually. His parents expected him to learn proper table manners at a young age, as he started attending formal dinners at the age of ten. Those, were more like a test for him than amusement. His father would quiz him through the conversation, and watch his manners at the table. Not that being rich didn't have his benefits. When his father went on a trip, to another country, he would always come back with some fascinating gift for Blake. Blake, after studies, was also welcome to run around their large house, as long as he didn't go in his father's study or get dirty.
During his early teenage years, Blake went through a short lived rebellious stage. Because he wanted to just be a normal kid, without expectations to live by. So, he skipped school and lied to his parents. Angry, when they found out their son was lying and failing school, Blake was grounded for the first, and last time, in his life. It lasted three months. After, Blake didn't ever try to upset his parents again, he found it much easier to just go along with the flow, and study hard. Even so, his growing jealousy, of other kids who didn't have expectations laid on them, grew more vicious.
At fifteen Blake decided it was time for him to enjoy his liberties, and started to use his wealthy, and powerful name to get him places. Not long after, he started sneaking out of the house at night to go to parties that his parents objected to. Party after party, each one he went to he tried to fit in more. He started drinking, he tried pot - which he didn't really like, and he had his first time with a girl. It wasn't what he expected. Maybe, because he was drunk? So he tried it again when he was sober. On the eleventh party he went to, March 14th, he learned he was into guys. His first, initial, thought was just panic. He ended up sleeping with a guy, which scarily was a lot more pleasurable than he expected. Of course, Blake would never tell his parents he was gay. How would they react? Throwing things and possibly disowning him. After all, they were already looking through pictures, trying to match him up with a "princess".
Sick of sneaking out, Blake begged his parents to transfer him to Eddingborough. At first, they questioned it, but later accepted it to be a learning experience. And, so it was. Blake was finally free, and he was wild. He kept his grades up so that everything would appear to be going smoothly, but that wouldn't stop him from drinking and partying. Coming from a rich family, however, Blake found ways to abuse it, and picked on other students. He had, what you call, a sadistic streak that leads up until today
